National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM- T), an institute of national importance; formerly known as Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology – IIFPT, has launched an online short course on entrepreneurship development in food processing (EDFP) from 15th to 17th March 2023.
The key topics to be covered are- Recent Advances in Food Processing; Technology Support & Institutional Hand Holding by NIFTEM-T for Startups; Supply Chain Management Trends in the Food Industries; Food Safety & Standards, Regulations; Guidelines for Export of Food Products; Market Entry Strategies for Food Commodities; Recent and innovative Packaging Methods; Food Business Management; and Funding Sources & Government Schemes for Food Business.
The course is open to students, entrepreneurs, academicians or any other aspiring individual.
