Launches the city’s first drive-thru, marking the initiation of Starbucks next phase of growth across southern India
Starbucks India announced the opening of Starbucks’ first Drive-Thru in Electronic City, Bengaluru, one of the country’s fastest-growing residential and tech corridors. With this milestone, Starbucks celebrates the 50-store mark in Bengaluru and reinforces India’s strategic importance as one of Starbucks fastest-growing markets globally.
The store is designed to deliver the complete Starbucks Third Place experience while also offering the convenience of a Drive-Thru. Featuring a community-inspired interior, bilingual signage in English and Kannada, and a warm material palette, the space reflects both the city’s tech-forward energy and its deep-rooted coffee culture. Curated artwork and a vibrant accent ceiling add to the welcoming environment, while indoor and outdoor seating encourage moments of connection. The menu blends Starbucks ‘ forward offerings of premium quality Arabica coffee sourced from Indian estates. With local flavour palettes with local favourites like masala chai and filter coffee, we offer something for every kind of coffee drinker.
Since opening its first store in Koramangala in 2013, Starbucks has become deeply woven into Bengaluru’s coffee culture, a city known for its appreciation of rich, origin-based brews. The Starbucks experience is reflected across key locations in the city, including the coffee-forward Vittal Mallya Road store, the Prestige Trade Tower store, the high-footfall Phoenix Marketcity store and high-performing airport stores, known for their speed, consistency, and partner connection. TATA Starbucks will continue penetrating deeper into the region with locally inspired formats, flavours, and experiences. Later this year, Starbucks will also be opening a Reserve store in the country in Bengaluru.
