Kerala-based R&D unit of Molecules Biolabs gets DSIR recognition

With this recognition, the in-house R&D unit can avail the customs duty exemption from the Government of India

Molecules Biolabs, a Kerala-based company revolutionising the formulation and delivery of bioactive compounds through its advanced drug delivery platforms, announced that its Global Innovation Centre located at KINFRA Industrial Park, Koratty (Thrissur) received recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

With this recognition, the in-house R&D unit can avail the customs duty exemption from the Government of India. This registration is valid up to March 31, 2028.

The company has opened its new Global Innovation Centre at the Kinfra Industrial Park, Kerala set up at an investment of Rs 8 crore, in September 2025, establishing a major hub for liposomal research. The 35,000 sq ft facility represents significant growth from the company’s humble beginnings and underscores its commitment to advancing nutraceutical and liposomal science through global collaboration and innovation.
