Aims to introduce its flagship variants including Medusa Premium Beer and Medusa Air ands Medusa X House of Dragon
Medusa Beverages, a homegrown beer brand, has announced its strategic expansion to the state of Jharkhand. As part of the rollout, Medusa will introduce its flagship variants including Medusa Premium Beer and Medusa Air ands Medusa X House of Dragon, which will be made available across leading retail outlets and licensed liquor stores across key cities such as Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, and Bokaro. The expansion will be supported through a strong distribution network and local partnerships to ensure wide market availability.
Medusa is targeting close to 90% width of distribution, with a sharp focus on retail expansion, on-ground activations, and driving consumer trials. The strategy also includes strengthening visibility across shelf and chiller spaces to ensure strong in-store presence and recall.
“The strategic expansion in Jharkhand marks our first step in the eastern region of India and we will keep investing in deepening our domestic footprint. Medusa as a brand has always stood for delivering our best to the consumers and addressing the unidentified gaps. Jharkhand’s beer market features a mix of regional and national brands. We believe there is a strong white space in the premium and contemporary beer segment, particularly among the young consumers. Jharkhand marks the stepping stone to our larger plans of pan India expansions,” stated Avneet Singh, MD and CEO, Medusa Beverages.
Looking ahead, the company aims to significantly expand its national footprint over the next few years, with plans to enter additional states across eastern and southern India while scaling its distribution and production capabilities. Today, Medusa Beer commands a strong 10% market share in Delhi, reflecting the brand’s rapid rise within India’s premium beer segment. As Medusa continues to scale its footprint across the country, the launch in Jharkhand marks another important step in strengthening its national presence.
