Eat Right Millet Mela was inaugurated by CEC LAHDC LEH
In line with the Eat Right India initiative by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), a remarkable event took place, in Ladakh. The Food Safety, Drugs, and Food Control, Ladakh organised a vibrant Walkathon and Eat Right Millet Mela to commemorate the international year of Millet 2023.
The event commenced with the Walkathon, which was officially flagged off by EC Agriculture, symbolising a collective stride towards promoting healthier food choices and sustainable agriculture practices. Participants, including representatives from various sectors and enthusiastic citizens, embarked on the walk, demonstrating their commitment to embracing millet as a nutritious and eco-friendly food option.

Visitors were treated to a delightful experience of exploring the versatility and taste of millets through innovative cooking demonstrations, informative workshops, and engaging activities.
