Two Brothers Organic Farms launches Khapli Atta

The formulation consists of 72 per cent Emmer Wheat Grain and 28 per cent other grains and soy protein, creating a balanced blend of traditional and functional nutrition

Two Brothers Organic Farms has introduced Khapli Protein Atta.

The Khapli Protein Atta delivers approximately 22 grams of protein in just four rotis, meeting nearly 40 per cent of the daily protein requirement for an average adult weighing 70 kilograms.

The atta is made using Khapli wheat (Emmer), an ancient grain valued for its nutritional profile and digestibility. The formulation consists of 72 per cent Emmer Wheat Grain and 28 per cent other grains and soy protein, creating a balanced blend of traditional and functional nutrition.

The ingredient mix includes Emmer Wheat Grain, Soy Flour, Bengal Gram, Soy Protein Isolate, and Finger Millet. Naturally lower in gluten (up to 50 per cent less than conventional wheat) and high in fibre, the atta supports easier digestion and sustained energy release. Delivering a 3-in-1 advantage – high protein, low gluten, and high fibre.

Satyajit Hange, Co-founder and Farmer, Two Brothers Organic Farms, said, “Today, we’re seeing protein being added to everything, often through highly processed ingredients. For us, the focus was on improving everyday food. Roti is a constant across Indian homes, and by improving what goes into it, we can help people increase their protein intake without changing their habits”

Ajinkya Hange, Co-founder & Farmer, added, “Khapli has always been at the heart of our farming philosophy because of its resilience and nutritional value. With this product, we’ve combined the benefits of indigenous grains with a practical approach to today’s protein needs, creating something that is both rooted and relevant.”

The launch reflects Two Brothers Organic Farms’ approach to building everyday foods that are both rooted in traditional grains and relevant to modern nutritional needs. By combining indigenous ingredients like Khapli with a functional nutritional lens, the brand continues to create products that fit seamlessly into Indian diets.
