N.I.C.E has wrongly attributed approval of its said protocol by the Ministry of Ayush: NIN

On 23 July, Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, who had formed a team of 750 N.I.C.E (Network of Influenza Care Experts) and cured more than 60,000 COVID -19 patients since June 2020, had announced the approval N.I.C.E protocol for mild to severe COVID-19 patients’ treatment by the National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), under the Ministry of Ayush.

It surely raised he hope for many people as the with the N.I.C.E protocol, mild to severe patients can be cured in 7 days with naturopathy protocol. The naturopathy daily regimen includes yoga, sun bath, consumption of juices, fruits, salads, healthy diet and community prayers.

However, a week later, Ayush Ministry has strongly denied the baseless claim by N.I.C.E on COVID-19 treatment protocol.

According to NIN, the claim is regarding management/treatment of COVID-19 and N.I.C.E has wrongly attributed approval of its said protocol by the Ministry of Ayush.

The Ayush Ministry further clarified that the said agency, N.I.C.E, has not submitted any application for the so-called protocol to the Ministry of Ayush.

“N.I.C.E has done a very unethical, illegal and baseless act in claiming to have developed an Ayush Ministry approved naturopathy-based protocol for COVID-19 treatment”, stated Ayush Ministry.
