Starbucks India launches Blonde Espresso Roast across India stores

Crafted from 100 per cent Arabica beans Starbucks Blonde Espresso is lightly roasted to highlight its mellow body, smooth finish, and delicate flavour profile

Starbucks India has launched Blonde Espresso Roast, a smooth, vibrant offering across all stores in India, with no additional charge for customisation. Crafted for those who prefer a smooth, light roast coffee with citrusy notes, Blonde Espresso Roast offers a light twist on the Signature Espresso Roast.

Crafted from 100 per cent Arabica beans sourced from Latin America and East Africa, Starbucks Blonde Espresso is lightly roasted to highlight its mellow body, smooth finish, and delicate flavour profile. Its lighter roast makes it an ideal base for milk-based and iced beverages, adding a subtle, balanced touch to classics like Cappuccinos, Americanos, Flat Whites, and Iced Lattes. It pairs exceptionally well with plant-based options like oat and almond milk, enhancing their natural sweetness for a smooth, rounded cup. Whether hot or iced, Blonde Roast brings flexible customisation to match evolving coffee preferences.

Starbucks is introducing two limited-time beverages crafted with Blonde Espresso:

  • Pecan Iced Shaken Espresso: A smooth double shot of Blonde Espresso shaken with ice and pecan-flavoured syrup, topped with creamy oat milk. Expect nutty pecan notes and a hint of cinnamon in every sip.
  • Date Cortado: A warm blend of Blonde Ristretto, steamed milk, and date-flavoured sauce, finished with a dusting of date powder for a perfectly balanced, subtly sweet experience.

“India’s coffee culture is undergoing a bold transformation, it’s no longer just about drinking coffee, it’s about defining your own coffee experience,” said Sushant Dash, CEO, TATA Starbucks.  “With Blonde Roast, customers can explore new flavour profiles and personalise their cup freely, with no added complexity. We’re empowering customers to shape their coffee exactly the way they like it. This is about more than just taste, it’s about freedom, individuality, and a deeper connection to coffee. It marks a new chapter in India’s evolving coffee journey, where every cup can reflect who you are.”
