The Baker’s Dozen introduces multigrain protein chips

The chips are made from urad dal, jowar, chickpeas

The Baker’s Dozen (TBD), an artisanal bakery brand, known for creating authentic and quality baked goods, introduces its all-new range of multigrain protein chips. This move also marks TBD’s entry into the Chips category, further expanding its portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to innovation in the clean label space.

Made from multigrains like urad dal, jowar, chickpeas – one of the healthiest sources of protein in India, these chips contain 10 grams of protein. Moreover, they are not fried but baked with zero maida, zero palm oil, zero cholesterol, and zero potatoes. Coming in four exciting flavours, Masala Mania, Sour Cream and Onion, Cheesy Tomato, and Korean Kimchi, to cater to the diverse palates of Indians, these chips are the perfect protein-rich, guilt-free, and accessible alternatives to everyday snacking.

For TBD, this launch represents a significant milestone, as the brand continues to diversify its offerings while staying true to its core philosophy of no maida, no palm oil, no nasties. By introducing multigrain chips with real, honest ingredients, TBD continues to stand apart as an ingredient-first brand, offering transparency and trust in a market dominated by big celebrity-led players.

Aditi Handa, Co-founder and Head Chef, The Baker’s Dozen, said, “The inspiration behind these chips was simple, we all want to indulge and munch on something, but the guilt of it being unhealthy is always looming over our head. Which is why we made chips which have zero potatoes, zero fat, not fried and also to top it, have high protein. You can now actually feel good about munching healthier.”

Sneh Jain, Co-founder, The Baker’s Dozen, added, “Protein is not just a marketing gimmick or a buzzword with India’s protein-enriched food market projected to touch $2 billion in the next five years. As healthier snacking is now becoming a norm rather than a niche today, TBD’s multigrain protein chips aim to redefine the chips category with a product that not only satisfies cravings but also aligns with the modern consumer’s conscious lifestyle choices.”
