Dermozone launches MedCare Ozonated Olive Oil in India

MedCare Ozonated Olive Oil, a wound- healing skin cream that can cure almost any kind of skin infection or disease, was formally launched in India by Dermozone, a Indonesia based Herbal Skincare Products company, by setting up an office in Bangalore in the name of Indo- Dermozone Herbal Pvt. Ltd. Dermozone also announced the appointment of Manjunatha K.G as Chief Operation Officer of Indo- Dermozone Herbal Pvt. Ltd, who would lead and oversee the Indian operations.

MedCare Ozonated Olive Oil, which contains organic ingredients like candililla wax, olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and nutmeg oil, is effectively used for the treatment of various skin conditions like cuts/wounds, diabetic wounds, surgical scars, athlete’s foot, vaginal thrush, dry skin, eczema, carbuncles, blisters, fistulae, leg ulcers, bed sores, herpes simplex, hemorrhoids, vulvovaginitis, bee stings, insect bites, acne, impetigo, psoriasis, ringworm, skin yeast, sweat gland infections, tinea versicolor etc.

“Ozonated Olive Oil is a unique compound created when olive oil is subjected to changes through a process called Ozonation for which we hold the IP. This unique product is what Ozonated Olive Oil carries, with an increased efficacy stimulating the function of enzymes associated with your skin. This fastens the regeneration period of your skin when applied on cuts or wounds, also cures many skin infections in no time and many more benefits,” said K.S. Dharshan, Chairman & CEO of Dermozone.

“We have invested over $4 million in the past six years in developing MedCare Ozonated Olive Oil in Indonesia. MedCare, tested with research institutions in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK, is a vegan product with no expiry date, requires no refrigeration and hence very handy and easy to carry,” added K.S. Dharshan. “We foresee a good demand for MedCare in India. Our anticipated revenues from this product alone would be in the region of $22 million in three years.”

MedCare would be initially available only online and can be purchased through the company’s India website at an introductory discounted price of Rs 1,400 for a 40 ml tin. Dermozone is in the process of identifying channel partners/ distributors for the India market, post which it would also be available offline in chemists’ shops, cosmetics chains and supermarkets.

Dermozone has operations in UK, USA, Japan, Russia, Seoul, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Australia and Dubai (Middle East).
