Bisleri signs MOU with Archaeological Survey of India to revive water bodies
Acharya Balkrishna. Managing Director of Patanjali has recently visited the CCRI and saw the facilities available with the institute for setting up a citrus unit in Uttarakhand.
He said “I held discussions with the institute director MS Ladaniya. We want to develop a unit where all the citrus family varieties will be grown and made available to the farmers. We also saw the research farm and the nursery of the CCRI.”
Ladaniya said, “There can be a MOU signed during the next visit. But before that we need to discuss the proposal with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). We cannot initiate any business with anyone without the due permission and knowledge of ICAR.”
The director also pointed out that Patanjali wants the institute to help train farmers from whom the company plans to procure fruits for its processing unit.
