Venture Center, a Pune based business incubator focusing on technology commercialization via spin-offs/spinouts while nurturing startups in India, is hosting Mentor Mixer on Regulations for Food and Nutritional Products on 15 October 2019, organised by the BIRAC Regional Bio-Innovation Center (BRBC) at the Venture Center.
The core objectives of the programme include- To understand how to obtain FSSAI license for your product · Learn about regulations governing export of food and nutritional products · Learn about regulations governing food packaging and labeling · Learn about testing requirements for certifications.
This Mentor Mixer intends to be beneficial for entrepreneurs working in the following domains: Health, Wellness and Nutrition products Value added foods Functional foods Diary Food additives Testing and analysis of food quality Food grading Probiotics.
Via this initiative, Venture Center and BRBC hopes to facilitate productive mentor-mentee relationships in different sectors and different regions of the country. Venture Center plans to launch an online mentoring platform to back-end these mentor-mentee interactions and create facilitating “soft” infrastructure for the same.
