Through the initiative, bigbasket aims to help spread awareness of the goodness of giving

Bigbasket has collaborated with Mumbai-based startup Letsallhelp as the supplies and logistics partner for its recently launched online social impact platform letsallHelp.org. As part of this, the company will work closely with them to manage the procurement and delivery of donated products to beneficiaries.

bigbasket will also help the brand in its marketing, corporate and employee-related initiatives.

Through the letsallhelp.org platform, individuals can choose products and quantities they wish to contribute. These will be delivered by bigbasket to each beneficiary at the end of the month. Donors will get proof of the delivery as “Impact Proof” with a photo when the products are delivered. Through this initiative, individuals would be able to impact lives in a meaningful way and rejoice in the goodness of giving. 100% of contributions made through Letsallhelp’s online platform reach the intended beneficiaries every month without any deductions, administration fees or platform fees.

India aims to become one of the largest economies in the world but millions of underprivileged and underserved people in the country still sleep hungry and are void of personal hygiene – the root cause of many diseases. Zero hunger and good health are 2 of the 17 sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations to transform India. The partnership will not only increase awareness on these aspects but also help in creating an impactful giving platform.

Speaking about this, Abhinay Choudhari, Co-Founder and Head of New Initiatives at bigbasket, said, “bigbasket is committed to bringing about social awareness and contributing to initiatives that have a positive impact on individuals and the society at large. Our association with Letsallhelp is a part of this commitment and we hope to bring about happiness in the lives of those who are underserved. Our long experience in managing logistics will help add to the promise of reliability, transparency and trust of our social impact partner. We are delighted to be associated with the brand’s vision and are sure that our relationship will grow from strength to strength to create a big social impact.”

Adding his comments, Premal Shah, Change Maker and Founder of LetsAllHelp.org, said, “LetsAllHelp is thrilled to announce its partnership with bigbasket. We believe in the idea of giving more than what you get from the society. We thus wanted to create a platform where donors have 100% trust, transparency and know the impact they are making through their contributions. Through our platform, donors get an opportunity to contribute towards helping the underprivileged and underserved and feel good about the impact they are making.  Each one of us can be a changemaker towards creating a society we have always dreamed of — one where everyone is content, healthy and happy.”

bigbasket has been a part of several CSR initiatives in the past. The company’s operations have expanded to 26 cities in India recording a registered customer base of over 15 million.
