Voyage Foods enters beanless coffee category with bean-free brew
Etienne Benet will take over as Managing Director of Nestlé India with from October 1. The company has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) about the appointment. Benet will replace Antonio Helio Waszyk, current Chairman and Managing Director of the company. Waszyk has accepted a new assignment within the Nestlé Group. He would continue to be the non-executive Chairman of the company.
Etienne Benet is currently Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Central and West Africa (CWA) Region comprising 22 countries. He is a non-executive Director at Nestle Nigeria since February 14, 2008. Benet is also a member of the company’s Remuneration Committee.
He started his career in Nestle Group in 1989 as an Internal auditor in France. He has held various positions within the Nestle Group, including Country Manager of Gabon in 1997, Country Business Manager, Nestle Waters in Egypt and Indonesia in 1999 and 2004 before taking charge as CEO of CWA region. He holds an MBA in Agronomy and Food Science.
