Gujarat Research Allopathic Foundation (GRAF) Laboratories, company owned by the Parekh family – former promoter of Zandu Pharmaceuticals – is now foraying into nutraceuticals with investment of Rs 150 crore.
GRAF is setting up a nutraceutical facility in Ganeshpura, near Ahmedabad. According to sources, the production will start by January and would have an annual capacity of 250 crore tablets, 60 crore capsules and 200 crore softgel capsules. The unit would also house allopathic drug production apart from nutraceuticals.

Initially the company will focus on prescription sales and later on would enter OTC nutraceutials segment. Aggarwal recently moved from Torrent Pharmaceuticals to join GRAF.
