OmniActive Health Technologies, which offers a range of quality ingredients, was presented the top honor of Pharmexcil Outstanding Exports Award 2013-14 in the Nutraceutical category at a function held in Hyderabad on October 1. OmniActive has been presented this coveted award for five consecutive award-years.
During the distribution ceremony, Dr P V Appaji, Director General of Pharmexcil was quoted as saying, “As a government agency we are mandated to help the Indian pharmaceutical industry to achieve excellence in exports and facilitate overseas buyers to find suitable trade with [India].These awards are a token of encouragement to the pharma companies that are doing excellent business.”

The Pharmexcil Outstanding Exports Awards are given by a panel of expert constituents to a select group of companies that demonstrate excellence in their contributions to India’s pharmaceutical exports. This year, more than 150 applicants competed for an award under a variety of categories.
Pharmexcil—Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India—was created by the government of India in May 2004 under the provision of Foreign Trade Policy by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which cover a variety of pharmaceutical products, namely, bulk drugs, formulations, biotech products, Indian systems of medicines, herbal products, diagnostics, and clinical research.
