The Ministry of Food Processing and Industries (MoFPI) has reconstituted the Inter-Ministerial Approval Committee (IMPC) for mega parks scheme with the minister of MoFPI as chairperson, secretary and additional secretary and financial advisor, MoFPI as member joint secretary and in charge mega food park scheme as convener and member, Representative of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) as financial expert member, Principal Secretary, industries / FPI of the concerned state as member and joint secretary, in charge Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) , Ministry of agriculture as member. The IMPC will select the projects and grant In-principal and final approval to the mega food park projects. IMPC will also monitor the implementation of the projects sanctioned under the scheme.
