Ranglal Jamuda takes charge as secretary, MoFPI

Ranglal Jamuda assumed charge as Secretary, Ministry of food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India on March 2. He succeeds Siraj Hussain, who has been transferred to Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation.

An officer of the Indian Administrative Service, belonging to the 1981 Batch (Odisha), Jamuda was earlier Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of India since December 31, 2014. Prior to that, he was Additional Secretary in Department of Agriculture and Cooperation. In a career spanning over 34 years, he has held several important posts at different levels in the cadre and also in the Government of India.
