Baba Ramdev have agreed to cooperate with the Uttarakhand government for the establishment of Ayush Grams in 13 new tourist spots and also help the state in promoting organic farming and promoting the cultivation of herbs in the state.

Baba Ramdev along with his associate Acharya Balkrishan, held discussions with Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand and agreed to extend cooperation in five key areas. 

Officials of these key departments- Ayush, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal husbandry and Dairy farming will prepare a detailed project report after which a joint memorandum would be signed. 

Baba Ramdev has offered a buyback scheme for farmers’ produce and said Patanjali was capable of offering buybacks to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore annually on farmers’ produce. Other plans included setting up of a cow shed for breeding high variety cows and undertaking documentation of different plant varieties present in the state.
