Centre ensures adequate arrangements for paddy procurement in Punjab
Pune-based agri-food company Nutrivita Foods, which is dedicated to the manufacturing of high-nutritional value foods, will showcase its offerings at World Food India (WFI), slated to take place at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, between November 3 and 5, 2017.
Through the valorisation of local raw materials, it manufactures Plumpy’Nut, Plumpy’Sup and Plumpy’Doz, ready-to-use specialised foods developed by Nutriset to support vulnerable populations in the prevention and treatment of malnutrition.
These products are exported from India to about a dozen countries in Africa and Asia, including Afghanistan or Bangladesh.
Nutrivita Foods aims to also develop food supplements to meet the needs of target populations, such as children in school-feeding programmes or pregnant and lactating women during pre- and post-natal care.
Nutrivita Foods is a member of the PlumpyField network which gathers agri-food producers aligned on a similar activity – the fight against malnutrition and for food satisfaction.
This independent international network present in ten countries allows synergies in research, knowledge capitalisation, operational excellence, innovation and quality. Their common mission is to contribute to nutritional autonomy for all.
Organised by the ministry of food processing industries (MoFPI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event is an opportunity for Nutrivita Foods to illustrate how making quality food and nutrition drive innovation with high social value.
