On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Sheela Krishnaswamy shares some personal space with NuFFooDS Spectrum-

My daily routine-

I have no fixed routine when it comes to professional work.  As an independent consultant, my schedule varies and sometimes changes at the nth hour.

My idea of nutrition and fitness-

Very important.  Whenever I’m not traveling, I’m regular with my exercise routine – it could be a morning walk in the park or lifting weights in the gym or a few yogasanas.  Needless to say that eating healthy is a part of my lifestyle!

My favourite cuisine-

I have more than one favourite cuisine – South Indian, Thai, Mediterranean, Mexican.

My favourite holiday spot-

It’s hard to pin point one favourite holiday spot when I have travelled widely across India and the globe.  I must say that the diversity in culture and cuisine that India offers is hard to beat.  Each state in our country is unique and worth a visit.  Outside India, my favourite destination is Europe.  I could visit any of European countries any number of times and at any time of the year.

My idea of balance between of professional and personal life-

That’s easy.  Time management is the key.  Also saying ‘no’ to things beyond my ambit, and prioritising my activities.

My role model-

None.  Don’t get me wrong.  I admire and respect a lot of people in my professional and personal life.  But I believe in carving my own niche rather than treading on another person’s path.
