Nestlé India, FDA, Uttarakhand NASVI train 1200 vendors in Dehradun
Kannur University, Kerala has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanical Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI), Thiruvananthapuram, for joint research programmes.
The university’s Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology (DBM) and the Microbiology Department of the JNTBGRI will work in mutual cooperation for joint research programmes as per the MoU.
The two institutions would initiate research programmes in production of industrial enzymes, development of bio-process utilising marine micro-organism, innovative utilisation of regional agricultural products, and development of nutraceuticals that can prevent malnutrition.
The various joint research programmes were being conducted by the two institutions with the funds granted by the Central government’s Department of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology and the State Biotechnology Mission.
