DBU to build $14M corn processing plant

Dacsa Bunge Ukraine (DBU), the Ukrainian joint venture of Bunge and Dacsa, is set to build a $14 million corn processing plant in Vinnytsia, Ukraine.

 

The proposed facility will be able to process 100,000 tonnes of corn every year, or 300 tonnes of corn per day.

 

The construction of the site will begin in the fourth quarter of the year, and the facility should become operational by the end of 2019.

 

The facility will include storage space for 10,300 tonnes of corn, by-products and processed products, and approximately 80 per cent of the corn processed at the facility will be exported.
