The food processing industry is among the growing industries in the country, and as per the data, it is accounting for over 32 percent of the country’s total food market. The market size of global food packaging is also expected to reach $411.3 billion by 2025, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc., registering a CAGR of 5.1 percent. Also, it is expected that the size of the Indian packaging industry will grow from the present size of $12 billion to $18 billion by the year 2020.
Acknowledging the increasing importance of packaging in the food and beverage industry, UBM India organised the 7th Annual InnoPack F&B Confex that took place recently in Gurugram, India.
