H.E. Mr. Daniel Chuburu, Ambassador of Argentina at New Delhi accompanied by Mr. Esteban Del Sar, First Secretary (Political) and Ms. Agustina Meda, Chief of Commercial Section, from the Embassy of Argentina New Delhi met up with Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) in New Delhi recently
They discussed a proposal for establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Agricultural Research at New Delhi which is an area of interest under the MoU between Government of Argentina and Government of India.
According to H.E. Mr. Chuburu, Argentina has developed cutting edge farm technologies and biotechnologies which can help India improve agriculture productivity and reduce post-harvest losses of farm produce.
