CSIR-CFTRI based startup Athletebit Healthcare has signed a deal with Thiruvananthapuram based soccer club KOVALAM FC for being their OFFICIAL NUTRITION PARTNER.
Athletebit Healthcare will provide its entire range of nutrition products-PreWorkout, During Workout, Post Workout to Kovalam FC for the 2019-2020 season.
After more than a year of Research & Development at Athletebit Healthcare launched its Sports Nutrition Brand UPPERCLIMB in July 2019, with the first product being an All natural ingredient based During Workout hydration drink- SOAR.
SOAR was launched by Dr.KSMS Raghavarao, Director CSIR – CFTRI. SOAR has been extensively tested by professional cyclists before its launch and has received lots of positive reviews on the performance and sensory factors. Athletebit Healthcare is one of the few companies in India that tests its products for banned substances outside of India. SOAR is tested at LGC Ltd, UK for prohibited substances.
In the last 9 months, Athletebit Healthcare sponsored 7 major events across three major cities of India Mysore, Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. The first race sponsored was the annual SCOTT MTB Mysore held in January, 2019 with the last one being the Karnataka State MTB Championships held in September 2019.
