Homeopathic treatment significantly increases chances of conception as it treats the underlying causes

Homeopathy may just be the best answer for effective treatment of reproductive problems related to women as the concept of understanding disease manifestation in different genders individually has been utilised by homeopaths since the discovery of homeopathy in the eighteenth century.

Said Padma Shri Awardee, Dr. Kalyan Banerjee of Dr. Kalyan Banerjee’s Clinic, “The indications for prescribing homeopathic medicines in its ‘Materia Medica’ demarcated how symptoms may manifest differently in different genders. There are references to symptoms that may only be noticed in women and not in men and vice versa.  Moreover, the propensity to develop certain diseases at different stages of life was also understood by homeopaths very early on.”

Homeopathy has been adeptly dealing with the health of women. As advanced investigative techniques have become commonplace, there is an increased understanding of the positive action of homeopathic treatment in women. Major causes of infertility such as uterine fibroids, P.C.O.S. and ovarian cysts can all be effectively treated with homeopathy.

Said Dr. Kushal Banerjee, M.D. (Hom.), M.Sc. (Oxon), Dr. Kalyan Banerjee’s Clinic, “Homeopathic treatment significantly increases chances of conception as it treats the underlying causes. These medicines are also safe for consumption during pregnancy and lactation. One of the most common positive outcomes of homeopathic treatment, is the reduction in the size of uterine fibroids or their calcification rendering them clinically irrelevant which is not possible in conventional treatment. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (P.C.O.S.) is another very common condition where homeopathy has helped thousands of patients become completely symptom free.”

Infertility in women due to other causes like past infections, blocked fallopian tubes, low levels of anti-mullerian hormone, formation of immature follicles, the absence of ovulation etcetera are becoming increasingly common. Although, causes of these issues are unclear, urban lifestyle is, at least, partially responsible.

Dr. Kalyan Banerjee added, “We also see a very high number of patients who are unable to conceive but have no identifiable abnormality. In these cases, specific homeopathic treatment to boost fertility along with lifestyle improvement by the husband and wife often fixes the problem. Studies show that the improvement of maternal health and provision of health education to the mother results in the improvement of the health status of the entire household, increasing productivity and relieving the burden on health services.”

In other areas of concern such as degeneration of bones and their associated structures, homeopathic treatment has helped hundreds of thousands of women avoid surgery and alleviated their pain. Similarly, diabetes, cardio-vascular disease, lung cancer, stroke and many other conditions affect women differently and require management specifically designed for them. Homeopathy can effectively manage a wide range of health concerns in women at low costs, is easy and safe to deploy in far flung areas and, hence, should rightfully be acknowledged as an important pillar in safeguarding and promoting women’s health.
