Coca-Cola products to be sold on grameen estore

The Common Services Centers (CSCs) have announced a partnership with Coca-Cola India to list Coca-Cola products on its Grameen eStore platform. This will promote availability of consumer products in rural India through local entrepreneurs and e-kirana stores. In the pilot phase, Coca-Cola’s products will be sold through the Grameen eStore platform in Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The partnership will provide last mile connectivity of essential items to the doorsteps of people along with promoting rural entrepreneurship and building livelihoods by mapping supply points to Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). Dr. Dinesh Tyagi, CEO of CSC SPV said the VLEs are playing a critical role in connecting product companies with rural consumers and the partnership with Coca Cola will allow the stores to diversify their offerings while providing customers access to new products.

Krishnakumar, President, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia said the partnership underscores Coca-Cola’s long-term commitment towards creating a sustainable business in India through responsible actions and shared growth.
