FSW will apply similar exercise on a monthly basis in a random manner in all prominent khoya mandis

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has recently received references from various sweet manufacturers requesting to check adulteration of khoya and use only adulteration free khoya and other similar products like paneer, milk chap etc. for sale.

The issue has been taken up by the Commissioner of Food Safety (CoFS), Delhi and is decided to place the Food Safety on Wheels (FSW) in the prominent Khoya mandis of Delhi.

Furthermore, the FSW will apply similar exercise on a fortnightly or monthly basis in a random manner in all prominent khoya mandis of states on the basis of specific intelligence input, especially in view of the ensuing festive season.
