This initiative connects COVID-19 patients who are unable to cook and require daily home-cooked meals

Saransh Goila, founder of a Mumbai-based restaurant Goila Butter Chicken, along with Fastor has recently introduced a platform CovidMealsforIndia.com for COVID patients.

This initiative connects COVID-19 patients who are unable to cook and require daily home-cooked meals with home chefs, volunteers, tiffin services, and delivery kitchens who can provide these meals.

With the launch of the platform on April 25, 2021, Chef Saransh Goila tweeted, “CovidMealsforIndia.com is now live. The platform helps COVID patients and healthcare workers with home food options pan India. This website hopefully will make it faster and easier for homechefs/tiffin services to connect with patients, directly.”

How does the platform work?

  • Go to www.covidmealsforindia.com
  • Search for food providers delivering near you (or register as a provider if you are one)
  • Order from your food provider through WhatsApp.

Saransh has joined hands with tech company, Fastor for this initiative. The company is helping digitalise the whole platform for food suppliers and COVID patients.
