SAVA Herbal integrates Ayurveda and innovation to deliver novel health solutions
Pune-based SAVA Healthcare that manufactures human and veterinary pharmaceuticals has announced the launch of its OTC (over the counter) business of herbal formulations, under the name of SAVA Herbals which is based on the science of Ayurveda.
Launched with the purpose of ‘Improving health every day’, SAVA Herbals has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Malur, Karnataka and aims to bring together the power of Ayurveda and the pathbreaking advanced phytotechnology to promote a healthier lifestyle.
“The Herbal OTC market is all set to grow at a faster pace due to Government of India’s thrust through Ministry of Ayush for creation of policy and incentive framework. Increasing preference of consumers for natural therapies is also likely to drive this growth. We hope to ensure that our end consumers look at SAVA Herbals and its product offerings as trustworthy, reliable, natural, and safe,” added Karthik Rajan, Head of Business Unit.
All brands being launched by SAVA Herbals have been developed in-house and tested for clinical efficacy and safety in patients, which is very significant. Each of the herbal ingredients has been carefully chosen for its health benefit. The formulations have been developed in partnership with Gurusolv Naturals Inc.
Their current product portfolio includes Actisheeld for enhancing immunity, Gudslep for treating sleep disorder and Lo-wt for weight management.
