Inside BENEO’s new pulse plant: pioneering sustainable protein from faba beans
The company plans to replicate its AI-driven, precision health model across other Indian cities once the Bengaluru operations mature
Biopeak, the Bengaluru-based healthtech startup founded by former United Breweries CEO Rishi Pardal and health data expert Shiva Subramanian, has announced its next phase of growth aimed at redefining personalised healthcare through artificial intelligence and systems biology.
After achieving operational break-even at its first clinic within six months, Biopeak is now preparing to open a larger flagship center in Indiranagar, Bengaluru signalling the start of its broader expansion strategy. The company plans to replicate its AI-driven, precision health model across other Indian cities once the Bengaluru operations mature.
“Our focus is now on scaling an evidence-based system that can personalize healthcare at scale,” said Pardal. “The success of our first clinic validated our model — combining genetics, biochemistry, and lifestyle data to help people optimise health outcomes before diseases take hold.”
Biopeak’s platform integrates genetic, biochemical, imaging, and lifestyle data to create individualised health blueprints. Its team of over 25 specialists — including doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and systems biologists — uses the company’s AI engine to deliver predictive, outcome-driven programmes.
Backed by $3.5 million in funding from Accel, Biopeak is also collaborating with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where Dr Deepak Saini serves as Chief Scientific Advisor, to deepen its research and expand clinical insights.
“The next phase is about accessibility and scalability,” said Subramanian. “With AI and systems biology, we can bring predictive and regenerative care to more people — bridging the gap between preventive wellness and clinical medicine.”
