FSSAI extends last date of renewal of expired licenses & registrations for Manipur

The officials from FSSAI appealed to all the FBOs of Manipur to file the renewal applications and submission of the annual returns on or before November 15, 2023, to avoid penalties or late fees

Due to the volatile law and order situation in Manipur, the state government suspended the mobile data services and internet services in the state from May 3 to May 4, 2023, respectively. Also, the suspension of internet services was extended from time to time.

Considering the grievances and hardships faced by the Food Business Operators (FBOs) in Manipur the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has decided to allow the renewal of expired licenses and registrations which had expired with effect from May 1, 2023, without any penalty, if the concerned FBOs apply for renewal of their expired license and registrations on or before November 15, 2023.

The competent authority had further extended the last date of submission of annual returns for the Financial Year 2022-23 by the FBOs (Licensed, Manufactures and Importers) of the state to November 15, 2023, without any late fee.

The officials from FSSAI appealed to all the FBOs of Manipur to file the renewal applications and submission of the annual returns on or before November 15, 2023, to avoid penalties or late fees.
