My daily routine-

I wake up at 5.30 am in the morning and spend hour doing yoga followed by reading of some positive thoughts and motivating achievements of other people. Post a healthy breakfast, (eating right is the most important thing to deliver quality work and sustain the energy to go through a normally hectic day) my day starts at 9.00 am in the morning either to the RnD centre or for meetings. Usually at office it’s overseeing the perfection delivered by people and the speed of work. External meeting are normally focused on various quality issues revolving around different foods and new technologies that can be interspersed. Lunch is on time and light. Office winds up at 5.30 pm. I have a dedicated walk/jog from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm which is completely work free and gadget free time. Dinner is light and closed by 8.30 pm and then its personal time engaged in reading or entertainment.

My idea of nutrition and fitness-

Fitness and nutrition are extremely important to sustain the pace of work, the speed of thoughts, changing circumstances, evolving new ideas and exciting new directions. I normally eat home cooked food and lot of fruits & vegetables.

My favourite cuisine-

Pan-Asian cuisine is my favourite cuisine and I like fusion foods blending the flavours of west and east.

My favourite holiday spot-

Europe is my favourite holiday destination.

My idea of a balanace between personal and professional life-

I am basically a workaholic and love every minute spent excelling at Science. I take short breaks which are 3-4 days usually proximity to nature.

My role model-

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is my role model for the sheer achievement and success in a highly scientific field starting from scratch.
