FICCI & GFI India to host Smart Protein Summit 2022 in New Delhi

To serve as a novel platform that highlights smart protein’s untapped potential

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and Good Food Institute India (GFI India) are jointly organizing the ‘Smart Protein Summit 2022’ with the support of Ministry of Food Processing Industries on 13-14 October 2022 at the Eros Hotel, Nehru Place, New Delhi.

As we all know, today the smart protein sector is at the forefront of global food innovation, with major benefits for people, planet, and profit.

Considering the immense potential of this sector, the Smart Protein Summit 2022 has been curated and convened by GFI India, the central expert organization, thought leader, and convening body in the Indian ‘smart protein’ or ‘alternative protein’ sector.

Over the years, this platform has enabled Plant Protein Industry to vocalize the need to diversify the protein supply to critical stakeholders who still lie on the periphery of the sector. Together with FICCI, this year the Summit is poised to lay down the roadmap to build a National Mission for Smart Protein. It has been designed to serve as a novel platform that highlights smart protein’s untapped potential, furthers industry’s progress, and lays out how the sector is poised to become a key pillar of India’s new green economy.

Like its previous editions, ‘Smart Protein Summit 2022’ will be joined by pioneering business leaders, policymakers, regulators, scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and students.
