MoFPI holds meeting with VC of University of Saskatchewan on food safety

The objective of the meeting was to encourage and strengthen joint research, industry partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives within the agri-food sector

Avinash Joshi, Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries recently held a meeting with Dr Peter Stoicheff, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Saskatchewan, and Dr Baljit Singh, Vice-President (Research). During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the potential for cooperation in the areas of food safety, post-harvest techniques and processing efficiency.

The objective of the meeting was to encourage and strengthen joint research, industry partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives within the agri-food sector.
