Telangana Govt announces investment commitments worth Rs 7,218 Cr during Food Conclave 2023

The State to further boost the food processing sector

The inaugural Food Conclave 2023, hosted by the government of Telangana recently, attracted investments worth Rs 7218 crore leading to 58,458 direct employments in the agri-food industry in Telangana.

Patanjali Foods and Telangana State Co-operative Oilseeds Growers’ Federation agreed to invest Rs 1,050 crore each, towards setting up palm oil processing facilities in Telangana.

Additionally, Varun Beverages and Four Zero LLP will establish a beverage manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 829 crore, while Jurala Organic Farms & Agro Industries signed an agreement to set up an ethanol plant with an investment of Rs 550 crore.

Modi Naturals will invest Rs 325 crore in setting up a distillery for ethanol and solvent extraction of rice bran oil, along with a refinery to process the oil. Masqati Dairy Products and Heritage Foods also plan to set up processing plants with investments of Rs 242 crore and Rs 150 crore, respectively.
